The Crow & The Sunflower

6 1/2" W x 12 1/4H

I created this piece around the sunflower and my love of crows!

Crow (Spare Parts) 6"x6

I used a lot of watch and radio parts in this piece, they helped "name" the piece."

Top Bot

5 1/4"W x 8 1/4

The wooden tops were the inspiration for this piece

6 1/4" W x 14" H

I wanted to do something a little different with this piece. I thought it would be fun to have the pieces come off the panel a little more than usual.

6"W x 7 1/2"H

Bees, bees, bees, I love bees. I have done a number of bee pieces. This one is one of the smaller ones. This one went to someone in Australia, my first international sale!'!

The head piece was the inspiration for this piece. I thought the buttons and wing pieces complimented each other nicely."

Time to Eat

 6"W x 7 1/2"H

I wanted to do a "kitchen piece" and was inspired by the stop watch and my endless supply of utensils.

9 1/2" H x 8" W 6 1/4" W x 14" H "I love elephants and this is my 2nd elephant piece. I like that it is all recycled pieces with no alteration to them."

The Queen

31"H x 13"W x 8"D

This piece was a long time in the making. She went through many transitions. I started with the head, thinking that was going to be the piece. I had the box (body) for years and once I figured out how to attach the head piece everything else seemed to fall into place.

Man or Machine?

11"W x 14"H "The pieces that I used for the eyes and the white light bulb where the inspiration for this piece. Most of the pieces I used where put aside for other pieces but they all seem to come together to make this piece work.

"I sort of stumbled into these collages by accident while preparing for my first art show in July 2011. I started putting together my love of paper, paint and all the things I've been collecting over the years and these were the end result!"

A lot of time and care go into creating each one and they are so much fun to make! They are an affordable piece of art for you or they make a truly unique gift!
